New Fetal Regulations in Texas: The Good (and Very Bad) News

You’ve read the headlines: all variations on “Texas to Require Cremation or Burial of Fetal Remains.”  The image calls to mind forcing vulnerable women to hold a funeral ceremony for their fetal issue, dressed up in a casket, then handing over thousands of dollars to a funeral director. The regulations appear draconian and unfair, a threat to women, and one more setback for pro-choice America.  But how accurate is this perception? How accurate has the reporting on this been?
