And Suddenly, Death Seemed Not So Bad

“To an Apache Indian, dreaming of an Owl signified approaching death.”

Yeah sure, death by CUTENESS, maybe.

Owls are symbols of death in many cultures from the Kikuyu of Kenya to the ancient Romans.  Their haunting hoot signals DOOM and impending mortality.

This video is the perfect metaphor for what the human brain does to death.  It takes these darlin’ little fluffkins with their big innocent eyes and turns them into the creatures that stalk the dark woods at night, ready to bring destruction and death.

If we pulled back our fears surrounding death we’d see that there’s a soft little owl inside, staring up,  just begging us to make an internet video.
